Finally finished my app for #TheMidnightCircus cause it seems they're back up and running and accepting apps again. It's been half finished for idk how long. >:V

Special Performance: Living puppetry, he can attach strings to anyone and use them as puppets. Tends to take volunteers from the audience and do it as an act, but he’ll use it on damn well anyone if he wants to so it’s best not to cross him.
History:
Solomon lived a normal childhood for the most part, not weird happenstances, no real drama. He loved entertainment though and strived to work in theatrics and other such arts. He traveled around when he was eighteen and learned many things as he worked at becoming a great actor and entertainer before going into it as a career.

Sol became friends with a man named Augustus when they both acted in a small production. Augustus seemed to be quite similar to Solomon, so they became close friends and were usually around each other. They continued to try and find jobs acting at the same places the closer they got. Solomon couldn’t help but find it odd after all this time that August didn’t share any information about his personal life or childhood. Eventually they both got callings and great opportunities elsewhere and had to say goodbye. He did miss having someone to be around and be talk to like he did with August, but he dealt with it as he went through the years. He kept in touch long distance with his friend, but soon Augustus stopped sending anything back and what the fellow actor did remained a mystery to Solomon.

Solomon got a letter out of the blue from Augustus saying that it had been forever and that they should get in touch. Augustus was going to be in a big show and invited Solomon to come and see then they could catch up afterwards. Sol went through this of course and it seemed to go well. It was when the two were alone that thing s went wrong. Augustus bashed Solomon over the head and dragged him to his home. Solomon came in and out from consciousness, not sure what was happening at all. He swore he heard Augustus muttering to himself.

When Solomon finally came to, it was a strange feeling to say the least. He couldn’t exactly move. He couldn’t breathe, yet he didn’t need to, his senses worked in a different way, and everything just felt strange. Augustus had turned Solomon into a living doll through some occult ritual, saying that he now owned the best actor he could and damn was he going to entertain. This man was different than the man Sol had known, he was corrupt, cold, and just a tad off his rocker. The puppet tried to fight, but it was no use, he couldn’t do much unless his master moved him to do so.

Solomon got stuck as part of an act for more years than he cared to count, unable to move on his own. But oh did his mind work. He slowly lost who he was, becoming calculating, cold, and manipulative. Then one night after one of Augustus’ puppetry shows he stumbled upon the Midnight Circus in full swing of activity. Unfortunately he didn’t keep a good eye on his puppet and Solomon ended up meeting the ringmaster of the Circus and making a deal with the devil to get a wish. Sure he’d be stuck working for the circus and stealing souls, but that sounded like heaven compared to being paralyzed and used like a toy. Solomon’s wish was to be able to use what cursed him on others instead of it being used on him. In other words, he was able to move freely and use puppetry on anyone else.

Sol made good use of this living puppet ability right away and made sure Augustus got what was coming to him, by his own hands of course. He’s travelled with the circus ever since.

Personality:
Solomon isn’t a pleasant person most any time. He’s rude in a gentlemanly way and thinks highly of near no one and lets you know. He’s cynical and blunt. He offers advice at times, though it’s usually drenched in an insult. He’s very smart and calculating. It’s rather hard to tell if he likes you or not usually. He can have a sense of humor though it’s usually at another’s expense, but usually he’s rather bitter.

He’s got a slight ego, but loves power. He wants to be in control all the time and gets a high off of powertrips. In fact he has a secret goal of wanting to take over the Midnight Circus as its ringleader, though this is something no one would ever know about him. He knows he’s not strong enough to go through with this as he is now, but he plots.

He has a weakness for theatrical arts and music and the time that you’d probably see him most calm is when he listens to/plays music or watches a play.

Likes: Power, control, intelligence, insults (toward other people), idiots, alcohol, acting, music, theatrical arts.

Dislikes: Being controlled or constrained, losing mobility, idiots, being treated lowly, being a living doll, young punks.

Extra Info:
- Solomon has a German accent and can speak a few different languages
- He technically has no physical gender in that he has no human organs anymore, but he is still male in mind as he was as a person
-He gets off on control and power
- He has spools of string imbedded in each wrist that connect to loops under his fingers, this is the string that he attaches to people to use in puppetry
- His doll body is wood on the outside but the inside is all metal and wires
- Has unusual proportions due to how his doll body his built
- He can modify his body (change broken parts, change limbs, make himself taller or shorter, etc)
- His body can split apart in certain areas, though he usually ever does this with his fingers
- He senses in a strange way, he has no nerves or organs or anything. He bleeds an oil like substance instead of blood. Though he’s missing anything of human quality, his soul and very essence is bound in the doll body and can still feel physical touches
- He actually has no hair with his doll body and wears a wig instead.</sub>
